Security for Frankston and Mornington Peninsula Properties

TeamSignal Security looks after businesses and property owners in Carrum Downs, Seaford, Frankston and Mornington. Static guarding, mobile patrols, alarm response, and CCTV and alarm systems all come through one full-service security provider in Australia, so the officers on the ground and the equipment on site are handled by one company.

Frankston City Council’s industrial precincts, all zoned Industrial 1 Zone, are in Carrum Downs, Seaford North, Seaford, Frankston East and Langwarrin. The Council calls them a leading source of local and regional employment, private investment and economic activity. Mornington Peninsula Shire reports that the peninsula attracted 7.9 million visitors in 2024 and that tourism directly supports over 5,000 local jobs.

What a property needs comes down to how it operates. Overnight checks of gates, yards and roller doors can be set up for a manufacturer in one of those precincts, and a shop, venue or place to stay can have an officer there during its busiest hours. Each suburb’s pages above focus on the types of property found there.

Every arrangement is based on the property’s operating hours, its access points, its risks and the outcome you expect, and we suggest services on that basis. Patrols happen at randomised times, with officers driving marked, GPS-tracked vehicles. Static guarding provides an officer on the premises for the hours in your arrangement, and alarm response dispatches an officer once a professional monitoring centre has notified us of the activation.

TeamSignal Security maintains one of Victoria’s largest mobile patrol fleets. Its officers log every patrol and attendance in TrackTik, and its patrol vehicles are out in significant numbers every night. Your dedicated account manager handles any changes, for one property or for several across the four suburbs above.

Frankston and Mornington Peninsula Security Questions

Which suburbs have their own pages here?

Carrum Downs, Frankston, Mornington and Seaford. Each has a mobile patrols page, an alarm response page and a security services page, which you can reach from the search, the map pins or the directory cards. If your property is in another suburb, share its address and your requirements, and we’ll confirm what’s possible there.

Can you patrol a factory, warehouse or yard in the Carrum Downs or Seaford industrial precincts?

Yes. Officers can check gates, fencing, yards, roller doors and loading docks at randomised times outside your operating hours, and alarm response sends someone out if the alarm is triggered. Static guarding covers the hours when you’d like an officer there, for example while trucks are loaded or staff change shifts. Send us the site address, when you operate and which parts of the site concern you most.

Can you look after a shop or hospitality venue in Frankston or Mornington?

Yes. After you close, a patrol officer can check the front doors, windows and rear entries, and an officer attends if your alarm goes off. During trading hours or a function, static guarding or event security provides an officer for the agreed time. Let us know your opening hours and when the venue is at its busiest.

Can I get extra security for an event or a busy stretch of trading?

Yes. Static guarding can add an officer for the extra hours, and event security can cover business functions and public events. Any change to your patrol plan for that period goes through your account manager. Tell us the dates, the times and what the officer should look after.

Can a patrol officer lock up or unlock my premises?

Yes. Locking up and unlocking can be included in your patrol plan where agreed. The officer works to your site instructions, and TrackTik records the visit with its time and notes. Tell us which doors, gates or roller doors are involved and when you need it done.

What gets checked during a patrol?

The checks are listed in your patrol plan, for example doors, windows, gates, fences, lighting, and any damage or sign of a break-in. An officer drives up in a marked vehicle at a randomised time, and each visit goes into TrackTik with GPS data, photos, notes and the arrival time.

Who responds when my alarm is triggered?

A professional monitoring centre registers the activation and alerts us, and an officer is dispatched to the property. The officer inspects the property in line with your instructions, records what happened in TrackTik and phones your nominated contacts. The goal is to be on site well inside the time in your contract or the applicable industry requirement. If anyone’s safety is threatened, ring 000 straight away. Our officers are security staff, not police.

Can an officer stay at my site instead of patrols visiting?

Yes. Static guarding means an officer stays on site through the hours you agree. It’s useful where someone needs to manage access and visitors or oversee deliveries, and patrols and alarm response can look after the hours outside that.

Do you supply security systems as well as officers?

Yes. We supply and install CCTV and alarm systems from several brands rather than just one, choosing equipment that fits the property, your budget and the job the system needs to do. Bosch, Hikvision and Dahua are among the brands listed on our website. If an alarm is already installed, tell us its brand and configuration, and we can organise back-to-base monitoring by a professional monitoring centre.

I have properties in Frankston and Mornington. Can one provider cover both?

Yes. Each property keeps separate site instructions, contact lists and reporting, and a single dedicated account manager handles the whole group. List each address and what it requires when you get in touch.

How do I know a patrol or attendance took place?

TrackTik records every patrol and alarm attendance with the time, notes and any photos taken, and patrol entries also show GPS data. Reports go to the people on your contact list, for example the owner, a facilities manager or a property manager, and your account manager keeps that list current.

How is the price worked out, and how do I ask for a quote?

Cost comes down to the mix of services, how many patrol visits you need, how long an officer stays on site and how many properties are included, so there’s no standard figure. For a quote, tell us where the property is and what it’s used for, when it operates, who comes and goes and through which entries, and whether an alarm or cameras are already in place. Fill in the online quote form, send us a message or call 1300 893 606.
